1. Overview & Commitment
At Dhaka Holiday, we strive to make every travel service dependable and fair. Because travel arrangements involve third-party suppliers (commercial airlines, foreign diplomatic missions, international hotels, and transfer operators), refund rules are governed partly by our internal standards and partly by mandatory supplier tariff conditions.
This document details the exact conditions under which cancellations, refunds, and credits are calculated.
2. Visa Processing & Consultancy Services
Our visa fees consist of professional advisory fees (dossier audit, form completion, slot booking) and, where applicable, official consular embassy fees.
- Cancellation Prior to Work Inception: If a client requests cancellation within 24 hours of payment and before our specialists have begun document evaluation, an 80% refund is issued (20% retained for administrative card-processing fees).
- After Document Review or Portal Generation: Once application dossiers are compiled, forms filled (e.g. DS-160, IRCC, or Schengen portal), or appointment slots secured, our professional service fees are non-refundable as the advisory work has been completed.
- Official Government & Consular Fees: Sovereign government visa fees (paid to embassies, VFS Global, TLScontact, or BLS) are 100% non-refundable by those diplomatic missions under any circumstances.
- Visa Rejection Support: In the rare event of a visa refusal, Dhaka Holiday provides a free review of the refusal notice and offers discounted guidance for re-application or administrative review.
3. Flight Tickets Cancellation & Fare Rules
All air tickets are issued in strict compliance with individual airline fare rules (Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Biman Bangladesh, etc.):
- Non-Refundable Promo Fares: Many heavily discounted promotional or economy saver fares are categorized by airlines as strictly non-refundable. In such cases, only unspent government airport departure taxes may be reclaimed.
- Refundable & Flexible Fares: Refundable tickets are subject to the operating airline's stated cancellation penalty plus our standard agency administrative handling fee of £35 per ticket.
- No-Show Passengers: Failure to check in or board a scheduled flight without prior cancellation constitutes a "No-Show", resulting in total ticket forfeiture under standard carrier rules.
4. Holiday Packages & Custom Tours Cancellation Schedule
For multi-day vacation packages, hotel stays, and private excursions, refunds depend on how far in advance written notice is received prior to departure:
| Notice Received Prior to Departure |

5. Flight Cancellations by Airlines & Schedule Changes
If an airline cancels a flight or alters its schedule by more than 4 hours, passengers are typically entitled under airline tariffs and aviation regulations to either a free re-route on the next available flight or a full refund of the unused flight portion. Dhaka Holiday acts as your dedicated agent to claim and expedite these funds from the carrier.
